Plan packaging around your market
Packaging affects customs, retail presentation and transit damage. Decide unit pack type, inner box and master carton before production, and confirm label content for your destination market.
Unit packs and labels
Confirm whether each unit is individually sealed, what information goes on the label, and in which language. Label content requirements are set by your market; confirm them locally and send approved artwork.
Cartons and shipping marks
Agree on carton quantity, carton marks and batch references so your warehouse can receive and track stock easily.
Shipping documents to confirm
Commercial invoice, packing list and transport documents are standard. Any additional documents your customs broker requires should be listed in the inquiry so the factory can confirm what it can supply before production.
Certificates: ask and verify
Ask which certificates or test reports the supplier can provide and request copies. Do not assume a certificate exists until you have seen and verified it.
Send one complete request
List destination, packaging, labeling and required documents in one inquiry. That lets the factory quote the full export-ready order, not just the product.
